"15 Qualities of Mentally tough people" is an article about attributes that people who are strong willed carry throughout life. It is very much worth the read. As I was reading i was thinking about some of these attributes that related to me. Three qualities that I found very important and that I need to improve on were:
"They're confident"- I look at myself as a very confident teenager and I 100% believe that if I did not have as much confidence as I do now, I would not have succeeded as well as I do in school and sports and just life in general. "They embrace change" - This is something I need to improve on. When things change I seem to sometimes not change with them and get caught up in the past. "They limit their caffeine intake"- People who know me well know that I have a pretty serious caffeine addiction, a I know for certain my attitude would change drastically if I did start cutting down on it. I also asked my mom to read the article and tell me 3 qualities that relate to her and 2 that she needs to work on and she gave me these three: "They’re confident"- Like mother, like son am I right? My mother is also a very confident person and it obviously rubbed off on me and helped her get a very great job. "They get enough sleep"- My mom will be the first person to admit she gets little to no sleep on an average night, and it would positively affect her if she slept even just 1 more hour a night. "They exercise"- My mom is not a unhealthy person, but she could easily get into better shape and maybe workout a bit more.

The article "How to Carve out Life's Passions" was full of great ways by which I should live life. Finding things I love is very important and if I follow the steps the article told me, I could find my passions. The two that really stuck out to me were "Give it Time" and "Pay the Price." Everything you want in life is not going to come that quick, and you are going to get hurt, take consequence, and be on the short end of some things to earn what you want to.
